Tasty, healthy & easy to make!
Hummus is a popular dish throughout the Middle East – packed with a good dose of protein, heart-healthy fats, and dietary fiber, hummus is a one of our favorite dips!
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- salt & pepper to taste
- optional: 1-2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and process/blend until a smooth paste forms.
